Two applicators with different roles

MiniFX: localized fat and contour planning

Vacuum-assisted suction and bipolar radiofrequency are used for localized fat and contour planning in the lower face. The physician assesses suitability based on fat thickness, distribution and the area being considered.

Forma: skin firmness and texture

Bipolar radiofrequency and real-time temperature control support planning around skin firmness and texture. Settings and coverage are selected according to skin condition, treatment area and individual tolerance.

PERSONALIZED CONTOUR PLANNING

Three things to assess before planning your contour treatment

Even when the concern is the same jawline area, fat distribution, skin firmness and natural proportions differ. Understanding what contributes to the concern helps determine the applicator, coverage and treatment schedule.

Fat distribution

Assess the thickness, location and side-to-side differences of localized fat in the lower face and jawline.

Skin firmness

Consider whether skin laxity and skin condition also contribute to a less defined contour.

Overall proportions and tolerance

Include facial proportions, recent procedures and acceptable treatment sensations in the plan.

FORMA + MINIFX

Separate treatments or a complementary plan

Not everyone needs the same combination. Following consultation, the physician explains which applicator is being recommended, the treatment area and the reason for the choice.

  • MiniFX Focuses on localized fat and contour planning in the lower face.
  • Forma Focuses on skin firmness and texture.

FAQ

Questions to discuss before treatment

Do I need both applicators?

Not necessarily. The physician first considers whether the main concern is localized fat, skin firmness or both, then discusses using either applicator alone or combining them.

Is looking at the double chin enough?

The assessment also considers the lower face, jawline, neck and overall proportions, rather than treating one area without considering its relationship to the rest of the contour.

How many sessions should I plan for?

A typical course for one area consists of 6–12 sessions, usually once a week. The number and interval are adjusted according to laxity, fat thickness, coverage and the response to each session. Results commonly last approximately 3–6 months after completing a course, with individual variation.

Should I allow time for recovery?

Some people may experience temporary bruising or mild redness after treatment. Allow approximately 3–5 days for recovery; the response and recovery time vary by individual.

Book a physician consultation

The applicator, settings, coverage and number of sessions must be assessed by a physician according to individual conditions.
