SKIN + MUSCLE PLANNING

When the face looks tired, the answer may go deeper than the skin.

If your concern is not one wrinkle but an overall tired expression, reduced support around the brow and cheeks, or a less defined jawline, EMFACE brings facial muscles into the treatment plan. HIFES facial muscle stimulation and synchronized radiofrequency work together in one non-invasive session.

DUAL-ENERGY DESIGN

More than heating the skin—the facial muscles take part, too.

HIFES stimulates selected facial muscles through repeated contractions, while synchronized RF provides controlled thermal energy for skin-condition management. The physician plans the applicator combination around the expression and contour you care about, rather than applying one standard setting to every face.

APPLICATOR MAP

Three areas, each with a different planning focus

01

Forehead

Assesses forehead-muscle support and the appearance of the brow and upper-face area.

02

Cheeks

Focuses on cheek-muscle support and how the midface connects with the overall contour.

03

Submentum

A dedicated chin applicator may be considered when the concern centres on the under-chin and jawline area.

IS THIS YOUR PRIORITY?

EMFACE may be worth discussing when you want the face to look more awake—without starting with needles.

No needles as the starting point

You prefer a non-invasive plan before considering injectable or surgical options.

The concern is the expression, not one line

You notice tiredness around the brow, cheeks or jawline rather than one isolated wrinkle.

You want a whole-face view

You want muscle support, skin condition and facial proportions assessed together.

WHAT TO DISCUSS

When EMFACE may be worth discussing

  • The face looks tired even when the skin condition seems stable
  • Forehead, cheek or jawline support is the main concern
  • You prefer to start with a non-invasive treatment
  • You have had energy-based or injectable treatments and need the sequence reassessed

CONSULTATION FLOW

Three decisions before treatment

  1. 01

Review expression and proportionsAssess the forehead, cheeks, chin line and left-right differences.

  2. 02

Review medical and treatment historyConfirm recent procedures, implants, medical devices, medication and other relevant history.

  3. 03

Select applicators and rhythmExplain the treatment areas, applicator combination, expected sensation and follow-up.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does EMFACE differ from skin-only energy treatments?

EMFACE combines synchronized RF for the skin with HIFES stimulation for selected facial muscles. Whether this approach fits your concern still depends on an in-person assessment.

How long does one session take?

The core EMFACE treatment is about 20 minutes. The full appointment may take longer when assessment and preparation are included.

What does the treatment feel like?

Most people notice warmth and rhythmic muscle contractions. Intensity is adjusted during the session according to the treatment area and individual tolerance.

Is downtime expected?

EMFACE is non-invasive and generally does not require scheduled downtime. Temporary mild redness, warmth or muscle fatigue may occur and usually settles gradually.

How many sessions are usually planned?

Manufacturer materials commonly present a four-session course. The suitable number, interval and applicator combination depend on facial condition, treatment goals and response.
