Where is the change concentrated?
The lower face, jawline and local tissue thickness are assessed separately rather than using one setting everywhere.
Density RF can be planned with monopolar or monopolar-plus-bipolar modes according to the selected tip and settings. The physician reviews contour, texture, treatment area, skin thickness, recent procedures and tolerance before planning the tip, coverage and energy.
Density RF is currently available at Geo’s Taipei and Hsinchu clinics. The face, eye area and body may be assessed. Topical anaesthetic is not routinely used; please allow 60–90 minutes.
Texture changes may be noticed earlier, while firming responses may gradually become more apparent over about 1–3 months. A physician may reassess the need for another treatment at around 12–18 months. Individual response and duration vary.

Personalized RF planning
Density RF can be planned with monopolar or monopolar-plus-bipolar modes according to the selected tip and settings. At Geo Aesthetic Clinic, the physician first separates contour laxity, skin-texture concerns and area-specific needs before planning the tip, coverage and energy.
Density RF is not delivered with one fixed protocol. The treatment area, skin thickness, tissue condition, previous procedures and tolerance all affect the plan.
Start with the concern
Concerns that all look like “laxity” may involve contour, texture, tissue thickness or other factors. The useful question is what role Density RF should play in the overall plan.
The lower face, jawline and local tissue thickness are assessed separately rather than using one setting everywhere.
Dryness-related lines, surface texture and skin conditions require different assessment.
The timing and recovery status of ultrasound, RF, injectables or other energy treatments affect the plan.
Energy modes
This is not a ranking. Energy distribution differs by mode, so area, skin thickness, tip and treatment goal must be considered together.
Clinic tip specifications: Alpha, Athena High and Eye. Taiwan does not require a separate consumer-facing console-version classification; the physician selects the tip and settings according to the face, eye area or body area being assessed.
Geo planning
We do not use a trend name as a diagnosis or assume higher energy is better. If another treatment is being considered, its role and sequence are explained first.
Review the main concern, medical history, medication, implants and current skin condition.
Use consistent lighting and angles to assess contour and movement.
Plan coverage, energy and pace according to tissue conditions and tolerance.
Explain expected short-term responses, aftercare and a suitable observation window.
Response timeline
These ranges guide observation; they do not guarantee a result. Age, skin condition, lifestyle, coverage and settings all affect individual response.
An immediate impression does not represent the final outcome and should be reviewed with follow-up records.
The degree and pace of change vary by individual.
Timing depends on the initial response, current condition and other treatment plans.
Comfort & safety
Density incorporates impedance feedback, temperature monitoring and cooling to support energy delivery, epidermal temperature management and comfort. Geo does not routinely apply topical anaesthetic for this treatment so the physician can respond to real-time feedback. Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, tenderness or dryness may still occur.
Do not stop medication on your own. Suitability and treatment intervals require an in-person medical assessment.
Questions worth asking
Bring your questions to the consultation rather than deciding on a shot count first.
Geo does not routinely use topical anaesthetic. Temperature monitoring and cooling support comfort management, but the treatment is not necessarily sensation-free.
No. The appropriate mode depends on the area, skin thickness, main concern and tip specification.
Texture changes may be noticed earlier, while firming responses may gradually become more apparent over about 1–3 months. Individual response varies.
A physician may reassess the need for another treatment at around 12–18 months, depending on the initial response, current condition and other plans.
They can be assessed. Suitability, tip, coverage and settings are determined by the physician.
Please allow about 60–90 minutes for consultation, cleansing, imaging, treatment and post-treatment guidance.
Density RF is currently available for assessment at Geo’s Taipei and Hsinchu clinics. Appointment availability should be confirmed when booking.
