BecausGeownie RF involves micro-needles penetrating the skin, the face will be redder after the treatment, but there is no bleeding. The face will feel warm and taut for about three hours, then the redness will gradually subside. The clinic provided ointment and oral medication, and there were no other issues with aftercare. It felt like the recovery was faster compared to PicoSure Focus Array and Fraxel laser.
I had a painkiller injection during thGeownie RF treatment, and it felt like a tingling sensation. The process took about 20-30 minutes and was within a tolerable range.
Sculptra was even more acceptable. There was only a slight soreness during the injection. Although I was a bit nervous about getting injections for the first time, it was over quickly, and I had no discomfort afterward. The injection process was easier than I expected.
Seeing the difference in the comparison photos at my one-month follow-up was quite surprising. I didn't expect such a significant change from my original state. My skin texture improved, becoming more radiant, and my cheeks were less sunken.
Genie RF improved the indented scars from previous acne and made my sensitive skin more stable, with less redness. Fine lines on the surface also significantly reduced. Sculptra, on the other hand, improved from the deeper layers, plumping up my cheeks and apple cheeks, replenishing lost collagen.
